Membership Application
Membership in the Midwives Alliance of Pennsylvania is open to community-based midwives, retired midwives, student midwives, and aspiring midwives who support the organization's mission of advancing and strengthening community-based midwifery throughout the Commonwealth. MAP represents midwives serving families in homes, birth centers, and other community settings and welcomes individuals committed to preserving and advancing this tradition of care. Membership applications and dues help sustain MAP's advocacy, educational initiatives, professional development opportunities, and organizational operations. Membership DUES ARE required in order to process your membership application!

Thanks to the generosity of MAP supporters, a limited number of one-time membership sponsorships are available each year to help ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent participation in Pennsylvania's midwifery community.
Because sponsorship funds are limited, we encourage you to reach out as early as possible.
Membership Dues
Before submitting membership dues, please note:
Membership applications are reviewed by MAP leadership. Purchase of a membership plan and creation of a member account does not guarantee membership approval. If additional information is needed regarding an application, a member of MAP leadership will contact the applicant directly. Any dues submitted in connection with an application that is not approved will be refunded.
